Paul Silver Photography is the online stock and marketing tool for photographer Paul Silver. Paul Silver has worked as a professional photographer for many years, although he is also involved in other business.

Fine Art Prints of the work seen on this site are available, although for different prices than downloaded digital images. Stock images can be downloaded from this site for use in commercial or private work, but cannot be resold. All copyright infringements are prosecuted.

Subjects included (but not limited to) on this site include:

• Musicians: Whether shot in live performance or for album or promotional materials, Paul really loves shooting musicians. Paul is an amateur musician and really captures the feel of the performers and the music. Paul has worked for David Byrne, Al Jarreau, Warner Brothers Records, Chico Hamilton, Joshua Redman, and many others.
• Fashion and Modeling: primarily posed shots, these are shot in controlled lighting both indoors and out. While primarily assignment work, this is also a favorite of Paul's.
• Wildlife & Outdoors: Paul is great fan of hiking, scuba diving, kayaking, mountaineering and of nature in general. Over the many years he has spent time in the wilderness, he has always brought his camera. Flowers, animals, underwater creatures, and scenic vistas are among Paul's favorite subjects.
• Architecture: Paul has shot assignment work for a variety of architects and designers. These shots, all assignment work, are mostly restricted use images, although some are available as stock.
• Fine Art Figure Photography: The nude form has always been a dynamic subject for photography, and Paul finds it so as well. There are many shots available here as stock.
• Sports: Dynamic and exciting, as well as a triumph of all the best that is in humanity, sports have a special place in Paul's photography. An athlete himself, he has great empathy for the subject, and captures images true to the excitement of the action.

For assignment work, Paul focuses mainly on musicians, sports, and modeling shots now. These subjects provide the challenge of capturing real personality, expression, and excitement, often in natural and/or available lighting. This provides wonderful fun, and results in great images.

Paul is available for work in the Greater Philadelphia area, the New York City area, and the Providence Rhode Island area. He does occasionally work in Boston as well.
